List of Services
Provided with Care
Wake Pediatric Speech Therapy, PLLC provides comprehensive speech, language, and feeding evaluations, as well as individualized therapy services.
A formal evaluation is the first step in the process and is required to determine whether a delay is present and if therapy is recommended. Evaluations are either billed through insurance or offered as a private pay service. These appointments typically last about one hour and are designed to identify your child’s unique strengths and areas of need, helping guide appropriate recommendations for care.
Formal evaluations are offered in the following areas: articulation (pronunciation of sounds), phonology (production of different groups of sounds), receptive language (comprehension), expressive language (use of verbal language), pragmatics (social language), fluency (stuttering), and feeding/ swallowing. A comprehensive evaluation report is included as part of the initial assessment. Pricing for evaluations varies depending upon each families' individual insurance policy.
Ongoing speech and feeding therapy sessions are typically 30 minutes in length. However, your child’s speech-language pathologist will make personalized recommendations based on evaluation results and individual needs.
